The leather moodmat/dabmat is very practical for :

Sturdy, resistant and elegant. 
The 2 sides are in full-grain leather, one side natural brown, the other marbled. 
The idea of marbling is to make colors float on the surface of water (thanks to additives), then transpose them onto leather by depositing it on the surface: the colored patterns created on the water will cling to the leather. The leather is then varnished to fix the colors and protect it.

Hand made, hand paint and hand dyed by me in my workshop with high grain vegetable-tanned leather.
